Where the ocean meets the Bard
Every night is midsummer, beneath the open sky at Riddell's Bay.
Come outside. Something extraordinary is happening.
Arts, theatre, culture and special events, performed under open skies. Home of the Devils Isle Shakespeare Company.
Built into 66 acres of Bermuda's largest nature reserve.
Set within Riddell's Bay's nature reserve, where the land meets the water, the Amphitheatre is an open-air venue built into the natural landscape. A stage for theatre, music, and cultural events. A setting for weddings and gatherings that call for something more than four walls.
The space is home-grown, hand-built, and rooted in its surroundings: the gardens, the palmettos, the quiet pull of the bay.

The Programme

Shakespeare wrote for the open air. We are giving him back his venue.
In 2025 we opened with Romeo & Juliet and served more than 500 Bermudian students from eight schools. In 2026 we widen the programme: theatre, music, film, talks, and the private gatherings that shape a life.
A venue home-grown, hand-built, and rooted in its surroundings. Come for the work. Stay for the island.
Complete, in-house production.
The venue hosts a diverse and engaging programme: film screenings with live accompaniment, music, "evening with" conversations, comedy, theatre, dance, and private events.
Because Bermuda has a limited number of local suppliers, and equipment and staffing come at a premium, the Amphitheatre is designed to offer a complete production solution in-house. Greater consistency, less downtime between events, and a smoother experience for performers and audiences alike.
The ambition, set from the first day, is a sustainable world-class operation that can attract local and international talent.
